The first thing you will notice when you train with me is that I am someone who really enjoys what I do. I take marine training seriously and care that you learn to operate a boat safely. This is my career and my business.
I am born and bred in WA and being on the ocean has been a way of life since an early age. Whoever said you can’t mix business and pleasure was wrong if you ask me. I enjoy what I do and love to get out on the water every day whether it be training, sailing, surfing, kitesurfing, stand up paddle boarding, fishing or any other way I can manage. Marine training is my way of sharing my love of the ocean with others.
I have been around boats my whole life. From working surf charters in Indonesia to building navigation markers in Darwin to sailing thousands of miles along the West Oz coast. I have built a life around the ocean and now want to share that with my students.
I particularly enjoy seeing new boaters at the helm getting a feel for the nuances of operating a boat. I take a lot of care to make sure beginners get the most out of the experience. At the same time if you’re an experienced boater I am not going to waste your whole day trying to teach you things you already know. For me skippers ticket training is about the student. I do my very best to make sure you get what you need out of the experience.
